Mini Myo Program
Ages 4-7
A program designed to start working on proper oral rest posture and nasal breathing

Early intervention is key
Orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) can help your child’s face and airway develop correctly. OMDs like mouth breathing, low resting tongue posture, tongue-tie, and snoring are all common symptoms addressed with therapy.
Myofunctional therapy can be the missing puzzle piece to address the root cause of certain conditions.
Here at Align, we work with parents to address improper oral habits and oral function, while aiding in the rehabilitation of oral structures impacted by OMDs. The child must be old enough to comprehend, cooperate, and comply with therapy instructions–typically around four years of age.

Break toxic oral habits
Does it really matter?
Anything in the oral cavity, such as a pacifier, thumb, or other objects, can change the shape of the upper and lower jaw. Ideally, breaking the habit by the age of 2yrs will lower the chances of improper craniofacial development. However, the sooner the better.
